“O man, who are you to question God? ”
(Romans 9:20)
It is dangerous to fight against what God has decided to accomplish.
Whenever a person deliberately seeks to block, destroy, or undermine a work that God has decided to accomplish, they are not merely opposing a person; they are opposing God’s purpose.
“If this counsel or work is of men, it will be broken. Yet truly, if it is of God, you will not be able to break it, and perhaps you might be found to have fought against God.”
(Acts 5:38–39)
Pharaoh wanted to prevent Israel from leaving Egypt, but God delivered His people.
Joseph’s brothers wanted to destroy his future, but God had destined him to become an instrument of salvation.
Haman wanted to exterminate the Jewish people, but God used Esther to save His people.
What God has decided to accomplish may be opposed, but it cannot be ultimately stopped by man.
So, do not be the one who opposes what God is doing.
Do not fight someone simply because you do not understand their calling.
Do not fight a work simply because it threatens your interests.
If God is behind it, you will not be able to stop it.
And if you recognize that God is at work, choose instead to align yourself with Him.
DON’T FIGHT AGAINST GOD.
Shalom.
