As he faced the armies of countries who had allied themselves against him(2 Chronicles 20:1-2), Jehoshaphat, king of Judah prayed saying:
« O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You. »(2 Chronicles 20:12)
We too are sometimes faced with problems to which we cannot find solutions.
When we try to solve them, to do everything we can, to use all our strength and all our knowledge to solve some of them, we see other problems arise, so we become discouraged, we despair.
However, the solution is to fix our eyes on God, trust in Him, and wait for Him to manifest His power over whatever haunts us.
PRAYER:
Eternal our God, grant us to always put our eyes upon You.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.
