DO NOT GIVE THE DEVIL A VOICE!

Giving the devil a voice does not necessarily mean speaking to him; it means allowing his lies, accusations, and suggestions to take authority over our thoughts and decisions.

Since the Garden of Eden, the devil has sought to make us doubt God:

“God knows that, on whatever day you will eat from it, your eyes will be opened; and you will be like gods, knowing good and evil.” (Genesis 3:5)
“By no means will you die a death.” (Genesis 3:4)

Even today, he whispers:
“God has abandoned you.”
“You will never make it.”
“There is no hope for you.”
“Do it your own way.”
“No one will ever know about your sin.”

But not every negative thought necessarily comes from the devil. We must discern what we listen to and what we allow to govern our lives.

The Bible tells us:
“Therefore, be subject to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7)

When the enemy says, “It is impossible,” believe in God and trust Him.

When he says, “You are condemned,” remember that there is “now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1).

Do not give the devil the last word. Give it to God!

Resist the devil, remain rooted in the Word, and keep the faith.

PRAYER:
Lord, guard my heart and my thoughts. Help me discern the lies of the enemy and never give them any place in my life. May Your Word always be the voice that guides me. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Shalom.
