A SINGLE SIN !

Moses is a perfect model of faith, faithfulness and adoration of all worshipers of the Eternal.
However, when tested by the waters of Meriba, by order of the Lord, Moses, accompanied by his brother Aaron, was hesitant. The Lord considered this a lack of faith and condemned them instantly. They were deprived of the promised land.

The Lord said to them:
* »Because you did not believe that I could assert my holiness before the Israelites’ eyes, you will not lead this assembly into the country which I am giving them.' »*(Numbers 20:12)

A single sin kept them from entering the promised land!
This story is also a proof that a single sin deprives us of entering the kingdom of heaven, because besides, * »one single offence brought condemnation… »*(Romans 5: 16)

Let us therefore purify ourselves of all sin.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, grant us to be cleansed from any sin.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray.
