Imagine, if someone goes to his friend’s house in the middle of the night to say to him: « Friend, lend me three loaves of bread; a friend of mine on a journey has come to me, and I have no food to offer him. »
What would happen?

If he is really his friend, he would absolutely get up.
And according to Jesus, « even though he will not get up and give you the bread because of friendship, yet because of your shameless audacity he will surely get up and give you as much as you need. »(Luke 11: 8)
This means that it is important to know how to bother in order to get what you want.

Jesus also tells us:
« Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. »(Luke 11:9)
Since our only way of seeking God and knocking at his door is prayer, we must bother him by knocking, knock, knock until God opens and gives us everything we need.

PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, grant us to know how to bother in prayer.

Imaginez -vous, si quelqu’un va chez son ami au milieu de la nuit pour lui dire: « Ami, prête-moi trois pains, car un de mes amis est arrivé de voyage chez moi, et je n’ai rien à lui offrir. »
Que se passerait-il?

Si c’est réellement son ami, il se lèverait absolument.
Et selon Jésus, « même s’il ne se levait pas pour les lui donner parce que c’est son ami, il se lèverait à cause de son importunité et lui donnerait tout ce dont il a besoin. »(Luc 11:8)
Cela veut dire qu’il est important de savoir importuner pour avoir ce que l’on veut.

Jésus nous dit aussi:
« Demandez, et l’on vous donnera; cherchez, et vous trouverez; frappez, et l’on vous ouvrira. »(Luc 11:9)
Comme notre seule manière de chercher Dieu et de frapper à sa porte, est la prière, nous devons l’importuner en frappant, frapper, frapper encore jusqu’à ce que Dieu ouvre et nous donne tout ce dont nous avons besoin.

PRIÈRE:
Notre Père qui es aux cieux, donnez-nous de savoir importuner dans la prière.

Vous avez peut-être entendu des gens dire: « Comment puis-je croire quand je ne vois pas? Si je peux seulement le voir ou le sentir, je peux plus facilement croire qu’il se passe quelque chose! »

La femme avec la perte de sang qui est venue à Jésus aurait pu dire la même chose. Mais elle, à partir du moment où elle a entendu parler de Jésus, elle a cru qu’Il pouvait la guérir, si elle parvenait seulement à toucher ses vêtements(Marc 5:28). Et effectivement, agissant avec cette croyance, elle s’est dirigée vers Jésus, a touché son vêtement et immédiatement, son saignement s’est arrêté.

Nous devons alors D’ABORD CROIRE si nous voulons voir des miracles.
C’est d’ailleurs ce que Jésus a dit à Marthe:
« Ne t’ai-je pas dit que, si tu crois(aujourd’hui et maintenant), tu verras(dans le futur proche ou lointain) la gloire de Dieu? »(Jean 11:40)
Si tu crois en Jésus, tu verras absolument de tes propres yeux, se réaliser dans le nom de Jésus tout ce en quoi tu crois.
« Qu’il te soit fait selon ta foi. »(Matthieu 8:13)

PRIÈRE:
Notre Père qui es aux cieux, donnez-nous de pouvoir croire sans de goûter et voir combien Vous êtes bon.

After being anointed, Saul son of Kish went to Gibea where he was seized by the spirit of God and prophesied in the midst of the prophets he met there.

Those who had formerly known him saw him prophesying with the prophets, asked each other:
« What is this that has happened to the son of Kish? »(1Samuel 10:11)

Indeed, until people have seen that something has changed on you, the Holy Spirit has not yet made a change in your life.
When the Holy Spirit makes a change in your life, people absolutely must see a change and say to themselves:
WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO HIM ?
When they see that you no longer talk nonsense with them, that you no longer support them in their evil ways, that you are no longer drunk, and that you have abandoned certain bad habits for which they knew you, it means that the Holy Spirit has already begun his work on and in you.
It is then necessary to continue in this way and to avoid all that can distract you.

PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, grant us to let the Holy Spirit take hold of us and transform us.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.

Après avoir été oint, Saül fils de Kis s’est rendu à Guibea où il fut saisi par l’esprit de Dieu et prophétisa au milieu des prophètes qu’il y rencontra.

Ceux qui l’avaient connu auparavant virent qu’il prophétisait avec les prophètes se dirent l’un à l’autre:
« Qu’est-il arrivé au fils de Kis? »(1Samuel 10:11)

En effet, tant que les gens n’ont pas encore constaté que quelque chose a changé sur toi, le Saint Esprit n’a pas encore opéré un changement sur ta vie.
Lorsque le Saint-Esprit opère un changement sur ta vie, les gens doivent absolument constater un changement et se dire:
QUE LUI EST-IL ARRIVÉ ?
Lorsqu’ils constatent que tu ne parles plus des bêtises avec eux, que tu ne leur soutiens plus dans leurs mauvaises voies, que tu n’es plus soulard, et que tu as abandonné certaines mauvaises habitudes pour lesquelles ils te connaissaient, c’est-à-dire que le Saint-Esprit a déjà commencé son oeuvre sur et en toi.
Il faut alors continuer dans cette voie et éviter tout ce qui peut te détourner.

PRIÈRE:
Notre Père qui es aux cieux, donnez-nous de laisser le Saint-Esprit nous saisir et nous transformer.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions, Amen.

Among the things that God hates and that make people lose their understanding, Hosea cites prostitution and the consumption of alcoholic beverages.

« …prostitution; old wine and new wine take away their understanding. »(Hosea 4:11)

In reality, the understanding and the life of anyone who allows himself to be drawn into prostitution and indulges in alcohol, are inevitably sidetracked by these evils.
And so, no longer able to think well and act well, he loses his consideration, his notoriety and his dignity in his family and in his community.

PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, give us the strength and courage to let go of everything you hate and that makes us lose our senses.

Parmi les choses que Dieu déteste et qui font perdre le sens chez les humains, Osée cite la prostitution et les boissons alcoolisés.

« La prostitution, le vin et le moût, font perdre le sens. »(Osée 4:11)

En réalité, l’intelligence et la vie de toute personne qui se laisse entraîner dans la prostitution et s’abandonne à l’alcool, sont inévitablement détournées par ces maux.
Et ainsi, n’étant plus à mesure de bien réfléchir et de bien agir, elle perd sa considération, sa notoriété et sa dignité dans sa famille et dans sa communauté.

PRIÈRE:
Notre Père qui es aux cieux, donnez-nous la force et le courage d’abandonner tout ce que vous détestez et qui nous fait perdre le sens.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions.
Amen.

The first to have believed in the resurrection is neither the guardian of the tomb where the body of Jesus rested, nor Mary of Magdala and Mary of Bethany who found the tomb empty, nor the disciples to whom he appeared. It’s ABRAHAM.
How ?

As he was going to the mountain that God had indicated to him to offer his son Isaac there as a burnt offering, he stopped halfway and said to his two servants who had accompanied him this:
« Stay here with the donkey while I and the boy go over there. We will worship and then WE WILL COME BACK TO YOU. »(Genesis 22:5)
He firmly hoped that after having offered his son in holocaust, God would resurrect him so that he would return with him to his servants.

Otherwise, he should have told his servants this:
« Stay here with the donkey; I and the young man will go… and I WILL COME BACK TO YOU… »

And for being the first to believe in the resurrection, we call him THE FATHER OF BELIEVERS.

Our Father who art in heaven, help us to be models of faith and hope for others.

Le premier à avoir cru en la résurrection n’est ni le gardien du tombeau où reposait le corps de Jésus, ni Marie de Magdala et Marie de Béthanie qui trouvèrent le tombeau vide, ni les disciples à qui il est apparu. C’est ABRAHAM.
Comment ?

Alors qu’il se rendait sur la colline que Dieu lui avait indiqué pour y offrir son fils Isaac en holocauste, il s’arrêta à mi chemin et dit à ses deux serviteurs qui l’avaient accompagné ceci:
« Restez ici avec l’âne; moi et le jeune homme, nous irons jusque-là pour adorer, et NOUS REVIENDRONS auprès de vous. »(Genèse 22:5)
Il espérait fermement qu’ après avoir offert son fils en holocauste, Dieu allait le ressusciter pour qu’il retourne avec lui auprès de ses serviteurs.

Dans le cas contraire, il aurait dû dire à ses serviteurs ceci:
« Restez ici avec l’âne; moi et le jeune homme, nous irons … et JE REVIENDRAI auprès de vous… »

Et pour avoir été le premier à croire en la résurrection, nous l’appelons LE PÈRE DES CROYANTS.

Notre Père qui es aux cieux, aidez-nous à être des modèles de la foi et de l’espérance pour les autres.

God put Abraham to the test.
He tells him:
« Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you. »(Genesis 22:2)

Never had God required a human burnt offering!
And nobody would have accepted it.
But Abraham accepted and went to the place that God had told him, carrying in his hand the fire and the knife, with his son Isaac who carried on his head the wood for the burnt offering.

Arrived at the place that God had told him, Abraham erected an altar there, and arranged the wood there.
As he bound his son Isaac, put him on the altar on top of the wood, and took the knife to slay his son (verses 9 and 10), an angel of the Lord called to him from heaven, and said to him:
« Do not lay a hand on the boy,” he said. “Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son. »(Genesis 22:12)

If he had not trusted in God, Abraham would not have blindly obeyed the word of God. This obedience pleases God.
If we also want to please God, let us blindly obey his word in all the situations and circumstances that he imposes on our lives.

Our Father who art in heaven, help us to blindly obey your word in all the situations and circumstances that you impose on our lives.
