Ibi, ni navyo Pawulo yahishuriwe akabibwira abakristo b’iKolosayi ati:
« Mushire imitima ku biri hejuru, ntimuyishire ku biri mw isi. Kuko mwapfuye, kand’ ubugingo bganyu bukaba buhishanijwe na Kristo mu Mana. »(Ab’i Kolosayi 3:2-3)

Imana yaduhishije muri yo, biciye muri Kristo, kuko turi muri Kristo, Kristo nawe akaba ari mu Mana.
« Mur’ aba Kristo, Kristo n’uw’ Imana. »(1 Ab’i Korinto 3:23)

When teaching his disciples how to pray, Jesus told them a sure-to-be-fruitful way to pray.

Jesus based this on an attitude they should adopt to enter into prayer.
He told them:
« When you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. »(Matthew 6:6)

Entering the room and closing the door means isolation and separation from all other things that can distract us.
Our room is our heart.
It is in our hearts that we speak with God.

So, to pray with confidence, we must pray with concentration.
This means that our thoughts, body and spirit must come into harmony, because it is not good to begin saying the words of prayer without first thinking about the work we are going to begin doing.
At that moment, no part of us can deny what we say in prayer, because our emotions and our will join our body and our mind and are in agreement.
This is what Jesus said: if we pray, we should not have doubts in our heart.
« Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. »(Mark 11:24)

If we pray with doubts in our hearts, it is in vain because we do not believe that what we are praying for is possible.
« He who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. »(James 1:6)
However, if we have no doubt in our heart, our faith will immediately begin to show us what we are praying for, and we will see it with the eyes of the spirit before we see it with the eyes of our body.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, grant us to always pray to you without doubt.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.

Lorsqu’il enseignait à ses disciples comment prier, Jésus leur a dit une manière sûrement fructueuse de prier.

Jésus s’est basé sur une attitude qu’ils devraient adopter pour entrer dans la prière.
Il leur a dit:
« Quand tu pries, entre dans ta chambre, ferme ta porte, et prie ton Père qui est là dans le lieu secret; et ton Père, qui voit dans le secret, te le rendra. »(Matthieu 6:6)

Entrer dans la chambre et fermer la porte signifie l’isolement et la séparation de toutes les autres choses qui peuvent nous distraire.
Notre chambre, c’est notre cœur.
C’est dans notre cœur que nous parlons avec Dieu.

Alors pour prier avec confiance, nous devons prier avec concentration.
Cela signifie que nos pensées, notre corps et notre esprit doivent entrer en harmonie, car il n’est pas bon de commencer à dire les paroles de prière sans penser d’abord à l’oeuvre que que nous allons commencer faire.
A ce moment-là, ce que nous disons dans la prière, aucune partie de nous ne peut le nier, car nos émotions et notre volonté rejoignent notre corps et notre esprit et sont en accord.
C’est ce que Jésus disait: si nous prions, nous ne devrions pas avoir de doutes dans notre cœur.
« Tout ce que vous demanderez en priant, croyez que vous l’avez reçu, et vous le verrez s’accomplir. »(Marc 11:24)

Si nous prions avec des doutes dans notre cœur, c’est en vain parce que nous ne croyons pas que ce pour quoi nous prions est possible.
« Celui qui doute est semblable au flot de la mer, agité par le vent et poussé de côté et d’autre. »(Jacques 1:6)
Cependant, si nous n’avons aucun doute dans notre cœur, notre foi commencera immédiatement à nous montrer ce pour quoi nous prions, et nous le verrons avec les yeux de l’esprit avant de le voir avec les yeux de notre corps.

PRIÈRE:
Éternel notre Dieu, donnez-nous de toujours vous prier sans douter.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions, Amen.

Igihe yari kwigisha abigishwa be uko bagomba gusenga, Yesu yarababwiye uburyo bwizewe bwo gusenga, ibintu bigakora.

Yesu yashingiye ku myifatire bagomba kugira. Yababwiye ati:
« Wehoho nusenga ujye winjira mu nzu ubanze ukinge urugi, uhereko usenge So mwihereranye. Nuko So ureba ibyiherereye azakugororera. »(Matayo 6:6)

Kwinjira mu nzu no kubanza gukinga urugi, bisigura kwiherera no kwitandukanya n’ibindi bintu byose bishobora kuturangaza.
Mu nzu hacu, ni mu mutima wacu.
Mu mutima wacu niho tuvuganira n’Imana.

Kugira dusenge rero mu buryo bwizewe, tugomba gusenga tutanyanyagiye.
Bisobanura ko ibitekerezo byacu, umubiri n’umwuka bibanza kwiyunga bikagira ubumwe kuko atari byiza gutangira kuvuga amagambo yo gusenga tutabanjije gutekereza ku gikorwa tugiye gutangira cyo gusenga.
Ico gihe, ibyo tuvuze dusenga, nta gice na kimwe kitugize kibihakana, kuko amarangamutima n’ubushake byacu byifatanije n’umubiri n’umwuka byacu biba biri kwemeranya.
Ni nabyo Yesu yavugaga, ngo nidusenga ntidushidikanye mu mutima wacu.
« Ibyo musaba byose mubishyizeho umutima mwizere yuko mubihawe, kandi muzabibona. »(Mariko 11:24)

Niba dusenze dufite gushidikanya mu mutima yacu, biba ari iby’ubusa kuko tuba tutemera ibyo dusaba ko bishoboka.
« Kuko ushidikanya ameze nk’umuraba wo mu nyanja, ujyanwa n’umuyaga ushushubikanywa. »(Yakobo 1:6)
Ariko, niba ata gushidikanya dufite mu mutima wacu, ukwizera kwacu guhita gutangira kutwereka ibyo dusengera, tukabibona n’amaso y’umwuka mbere yo kubibona n’amaso n’umubiri.

Yesu yashimikiye ku nyifato bakwiriye kugira imbere y’uko basenga. Yababgiye ati:
« Iy’ usenga, uje haruguru mu nzu yawe, wugare urugi, usenge So aba mu mpisho, kandi So, akuboneye mu mpisho azoguhera. »(Matayo 6:6)

Kuja haruguru mu nzu no kubanza kwugara urugi, bisigura kwiherera no kwitandukanya n’ibindi bintu vyose bishobora kudusamaza.
Mu nzu hacu, ni mu mutima wacu.
Mu mutima wacu naho, niho tuvuganira n’Imana.

Kugira dusenge rero mu buryo bgizewe, dukwiriye gusenga umutima uri hamwe, ata kiwuhungabanya kandi ata kiwuvuguruza.
Ivyo bisigura ko ivyiyumviro vyacu, umubiri n’umutima bibanza kwiyunga bikagira ubumwe kuko atari vyiza gutangura kuvuga amajambo yo gusenga tutabanje kwiyumvira ku gikorwa tuba tugire dutangure co gusenga.
Ico gihe, ivyo tuvuze dusenga, nta gice na kimwe kitugize kibihakana, kuko amarangamutima n’ubugombe vyacu vyifatanije n’umubiri n’umutima vyacu biba bivyumva kumwe.
Ni navyo Yesu yavuze, ngo dusenze ntidukekeranye mu mutima wacu.
« Ni co gitumye mbabgira yukw ivyo musenga canke musaba vyose, mwizere yuko mubihawe, kandi muzobibona. »(Mariko 11:24)

Dusenze dukekeranya mu mutima wacu, biba ari ivy’ubusa kuko tuba tutemera ivyo dusaba ko bishoboka. Umutima ntuba wemera ivyo umunwa uvuze mu gusenga.
« Ukekeranya ameze nk’umupfunda wo mu kiyaga, utwarwa n’umuyaga, usimbaguritswa. »(Yakobo 1:6)
Ariko, dusenze tudakekeranya mu mutima wacu, ukwizera kwacu guca gutangura kutwereka ivyo dusengera, tukabibona n’amaso y’umutima imbere yo kubibona n’amaso n’umubiri.

In his epistle to the Ephesians, the apostle Paul exhorts us to bear with one another:

« I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. »(Ephesians 4:1-2)

How unfortunate it is to note that although we would like others to bear or tolerate our faults, errors and failings, we are very reluctant to bear those of others.
Indeed, nothing is so common as to bear the faults of one’s neighbor through insensitivity, through gentleness of temperament, through human complacency, through worldly honesty or through Pharisee hypocrisy. Doing it through true and truly Christian charity is the rarest.
Charity, an intimate and true love for the Lord and for his redeemed, can alone produce, in our relationships with them, humility, meekness, patience and enduring (compare Colossians 3.12-14).

PRAYER:
Lord our God, grant us the ability to bear the faults and failings of others.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.

Dans son épître aux Éphésiens, l’apôtre Paul nous exhorte à nous supporter les uns les autres:

« Je vous exhorte donc, moi, le prisonnier dans le Seigneur, à marcher d’une manière digne de la vocation qui vous a été adressée,en toute humilité et douceur, avec patience, vous supportant les uns les autres avec charité. »(Éphésiens 4:1-2)

Qu’il est regrettable de remarquer que bien que nous voudrions que les autres supportent ou tolèrent nos défauts, nos erreurs et nos manquements, nous sommes très peu disposés à supporter ceux des autres!
En effet, rien n’est de si commun que de supporter les défauts du prochain par insensibilité, par une douceur de tempérament, par une complaisance humaine, par une honnêteté du monde ou par une hypocrisie de pharisien. Le faire par une charité véritable et bien chrétienne, est le plus rare.
La charité, un amour intime et vrai pour le Seigneur et pour ses rachetés, peut seule produire, dans nos rapports avec ces derniers, l’humilité, la douceur, la patience, le fait de pouvoir supporter les autres(comparer avec Colossiens 3.12-14).

PRIÈRE:
Éternel notre Dieu, donnez-nous de pouvoir supporter les défauts et les manquements des autres.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions, Amen.

Mbega ukuntu bibabaje kubona twifuza ko abandi bihanganira amakosa n’amabi yacu, ariko ntitwifuze cyane kwihanganira ay’abandi!
Muby’ukuri, ntakintu gisanzwe nko kwihanganira amakosa ya bagenzi bacu kubera tutahaye agaciro ibyo badukoreye cyangwa tukabikorana uburyarya nk’ubw’abafarisayo. Ibidasanzwe, ibidakunze kubaho, n’ukwihanganira abandi biturutse ku rukundo nyarwo, rumwe Nyagasani adutegeka gukunda abandi.
Urukundo nirwo rwonyine rushobora kudushoboza, mu mibanire yacu n’abandi, kwicisha bugufi, kwiyoroshya, kuba abagwaneza, kwihangana no kwihanganira abandi(Soma no mu baKolosayi 3:12-14).

Ese ukuntu bitangaje kubona twifuza ko abandi bihanganira amakosa n’amabi yacu, ariko ntitwifuze na gato kwihanganira ay’abandi!
Muvy’ukuri, nta kintu gisanzwe nko kwihanganira amakosa ya bagenzi bacu iyo tutahaye agaciro ivyo badukoreye, canke iyo twiyorobetse nk’abafarisayo kugira ngo abantu ntibaducishemwo ijisho.
Ikidasanzwe, n’ukwihangana biturutse Ku mutima w’urukundo.
Urukundo nyarwo, rumwe Imana yifuza ko dukundana, nirwo rwonyene rushobora kudushoboza kwicisha bugufi, kwiyorosha, kuba abagwaneza, kwihangana no kubabarira abandi mu mubano wacu n’abandi.(Soma no mu baKolosayi 3:12-14)

Having the same faith, the same spirit and the same brotherly love (Hebrews 13:1), all Christians should stand in solidarity with one another (1 Corinthians 12:26).
God’s love makes Christians accountable for one another. It is to this sensitivity that this epistle of Paul to the Hebrews draws our attention:

« Remember those in prison as if you were their fellow prisoners, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering. »(Hebrews 13:3)

Our love for others absolutely drive us to understand them and empathize with them in difficult situations.
Remembering them in their difficulties means concretely putting ourselves in their shoes so that we can understand them and feel their pain.
If we do not put ourselves in the shoes of prisoners as if we were in prison ourselves, we cannot empathize with them, visit them, advocate for their justice and help their families.
If we do not put ourselves in the shoes of the men who are mistreated, we cannot understand their humiliation and suffering to help them to get through it or advocate for their justice.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, help us to always put ourselves in the place of others, to understand them and empathize with them.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.
