DO NOT CAUSE OTHERS TO DOWN

Instead of judging one another, the word of God exhorts us to build one another up.

* »Therefore let us stop passing judgement on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister. »*(Romans 14:13)

In biblical parlance, a « stumbling block » is anything in a man’s way that can bring Him down.
And in a figurative sense, the word fall means « to sin. »
*A « stumbling block » is therefore that act, a behavior, a word, an advice given, a comment made, a judgment, and even a dress, which may cause another person to sin.*
Our duty as Christians is to edify, encourage, and keep our brothers and sisters in Christ from falling into sin.
And if we happen to bring about their downfall, we will absolutely give an account of it to God.
We must then be careful that we do nothing that can cause others to fall into sin.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, help us to avoid all that can bring down the children of God.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray.
