Who do you trust in?
A person like you or God?
The psalmist tells us:
« Blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, who does not look to the proud, to those who turn aside to false gods. »(Psalm 40:4)
When liars or false gods give us false promises and betray us, the proud people do not even want to listen to us. When they listen to us, they listen to us in vain because they laugh at us and shame us.
But the Lord our God hears us, has compassion on us, and helps us.
He helps us even in what humans cannot because He is Almighty.
PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, grant us to always trust in you.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.
