Scripture says that we are all articles for the Lord, some precious, some of base use, and urges us to be instruments for special purposes.
« In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for special purposes and some for common use. Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work. »(2 Timothy 2: 20-21)
Indeed, it is our faith, our good conduct and our righteousness before God that make us instruments for special purposes in the eyes of God.
If we want to be useful to God and fit for any good work of God, then let us be instruments for special purposes that please Him.
God will always take care of his instruments for special purposes because they are precious to Him, while the articles of dishonor are thrown down and destroyed because they bring shame to Him.
PRAYER:
Lord our God, help us to be your instruments for special purposes in your house.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray.
