Nowadays, we see or hear of people claiming to be « prophets »!
Are they men of God or men of Satan?
The Bible says:
« Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. »(Matthew 7:15-17)
We easily recognize men of God by the fact that they help us to depend on God and not on themselves. Everything that men of God do, they do it for the glory of God.
However, the majority of these people who, today, claim to be prophets, do not seek the glory of God. They seek their own glory by making us depend on them to extract money from us, by making us understand that the more we pay them, the more they pray for us.
Let’s be careful, no ministry of God pays off!
Those who make the children of God pay money are not men of God, they are men of Satan.
PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, grant us to never trust false prophets.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.
