Every man’s life depends on his choices, good or bad for her and on her.
* »Today, I call heaven and earth to witness against you: I am offering you life or death, blessing or curse. Choose life, then, so that you and your descendants may live. »*(Deuteronomy 30:19)
In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve had everything that could make them happy with a peaceful life. There was also, in the middle, a tree in front of which they had a simple decision to make:
It is the choice to eat or not the fruits of this tree, to obey or disobey God.
Until today, we suffer the consequences of their choice: suffering, death, and so on.
Man has never been a robot, he has always had free choice. That of loving and obeying one’s God is one.
Moreover, it is this choice that the Word of God recommends to us, because obedience and love touch the heart of God and urge Him to bless us.
If we choose to live in God’s love and obedience in everything, we will live happily.
PRAYER:
Lord our God, grant us to know how to make good choices for our life.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray.
