In the beginning, God created heaven and earth. But the earth was empty and unoccupied, and darknesses were over the face of the abyss; and so the Spirit of God was brought over the waters.
God said one word:
« Let there be light. »
And light became. (Genesis 1:3)
God said one word and everything came into existence. Only one word! Not two or three!
Lord our God, say just one more word today, so that light may be in the lives of those who live in confusion;
Lord our God, say just one more word today, so that light may be in the lives of those who are going through a dark situation in their lives;
Lord our God, say just one more word today, so that light may be in the lives of all those who have lost themselves in this world and lost hope.
