Baada ya kupokea utume wa kuwakomboa watu wa Israeli kutoka Misri, Musa alimwambia Mungu:

« Uso wako usipokwenda pamoja nami, usituchukue kutoka hapa. »(Kutoka 33:15)

Musa alitambua kwamba bila uwepo wa Mungu katikati yao, hawangefika mahali wanakoenda.
Hakika tukishindwa katika utume wetu, tusipofanikiwa majukumu yetu, tusipofanikiwa kutimiza ahadi zetu ni kwa sababu tunajituma bila kumshirikisha Mungu.
Tusifanye lolote tena bila kumshirikisha Mungu.

« When the Lord takes pleasure in anyone’s way, he causes their enemies to make peace with them. »(Proverbs 16:7)

When God approves of our ways, no one can overcome our determination to block or torpedo us.
Even our enemies become favorable to the realization of our projects!
Let us make sure that our ways are approved by God.

Si Dieu est pour nous et qu’Il approuve nos voies, nous n’avons pas à nous inquiéter de quoi que ce soit ou de qui que ce soit.

« Quand l’Éternel approuve les voies d’un homme, Il dispose favorablement à son égard même ses ennemis. »(Proverbes 16:7)

Lorsque Dieu approuve nos voies, nul ne peut venir au bout de notre détermination pour nous bloquer ou nous torpiller.
Même nos ennemis deviennent favorables à la réalisation de nos projets !
Rassurons-nous que nos voies sont approuvées par Dieu.

Que Dieu dispose nos ennemis à notre faveur dans nos voies.

Mungu anapokubali njia zetu, hakuna awezaye kushinda azimio letu la kutuzuia au kutusumbua.
Hata maadui zetu wanapendelea utekelezaji wa miradi yetu!
Hebu tuhakikishe kwamba njia zetu zimekubaliwa na Mungu.

Mungu huharibu mitego yote ambayo adui zetu wameweka katika njia zetu.

Self-control is one of the important things that every man needs to be victorious in life and to please God. Here are five key points of our character to master:

1. Worries
Worry takes away the desire to do what we have to do and takes away our joy.
« Do not worry about anything; but in everything make your needs known to God through prayers… »(Philippians 4:6)

2. The fear
Fear does not come from God! It comes from the enemy but God gave us a spirit of strength to dominate it.
« For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline. »(2 Timothy 1:7)

3. Anger
If we are not careful, anger leads us to be violent and not to do the will of God.
« In your anger do not sin: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. »(Ephesians 4:26-27)

4. The seductions
Various seductions aim to lead us into sin. The word of God urges us to overcome them.
« My son, if sinners entice you, do not give in to them. »(Proverbs 1:10)

5. Resentments
It’s about all the grudges that we have stored up in our hearts. Let’s know that it is poison for our life.
« …if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins. »(Mark 11:25)

If we manage to master our worries and our fears, to resist all seductions and to overcome our resentments, we can easily do the will of God and please Him.
May God help us to master ourselves.

La maîtrise de soi est l’une des choses importantes dont tout homme a besoin pour être victorieux dans la vie et plaire à Dieu. Voici cinq points clés de notre caractère à maîtriser:

1. Les inquiétudes
L’inquiétude ôte l’envie de faire ce que l’on doit faire et nous ôte la joie.
* »Ne vous inquiétez de rien; mais en toute chose faites connaître vos besoins à Dieu par des prières… »(Philippiens 4:6)

2. La peur
La peur ne vient pas de Dieu! Elle vient de l’ennemi mais Dieu nous a donné un esprit de force pour la dominer.
« Car ce n’est pas un esprit de timidité que Dieu nous a donné, mais un esprit de force, d’amour et de sagesse. »(2 Timothée 1 :7)

3. La colère
Si nous ne faisons pas attention, la colère nous entraîne à être violents et à ne pas faire la volonté de Dieu.
« Si vous vous mettez en colère, ne péchez point; que le soleil ne se couche pas sur votre colère, et ne donnez pas accès au diable. »(Ephésiens 4 : 26-27)

4. Les séductions
Diverses séductions visent à nous entraîner dans le péché. La parole de Dieu nous exhorte à les vaincre.
« Mon fils, si des pécheurs veulent te séduire, Ne te laisse pas gagner. »(Proverbes 1:10)

5. Les ressentiments
Il s’agit de toutes les rancunes que nous avons accumulées dans notre coeur. Sachez que c’est du poison pour notre vie.
« … si vous avez quelque chose contre quelqu’un, pardonnez, afin que votre Père qui est dans les cieux vous pardonne aussi vos offenses. »(Marc 11:25)

Si nous parvenons à maîtriser nos inquiétudes et nos peurs, à résister à toutes les séductions et à dominer nos ressentiments, nous pourrons facilement faire la volonté de Dieu et Lui plaire.
Que Dieu nous aide à nous maîtriser.
