« Ku by’umwete ntimube ibyangwe, muhirimbane mu mitima mukorere Umwami wacu. »(Abaroma 12:11)

Nigute dushobora gukorera Imana?
Hariho abizera ko kujya mu rusengero buri gihe cyangwa gutanga ibikorwa bimwe na bimwe gusa mu itorero ari ugukorera Imana. Ibi ntabwo ari byo, baribeshya.
Kujya mu rusengero kenshi cyangwa kugira ibikorwa bimwe cyangwa byinshi mu itorero, ntabwo bihwanye no GUKORERA IMANA.
GUKORERA IMANA ni guhamya urukundo n’ibyiza by’Imana muri byose, burigihe n’ahantu hose, kubw’icyubahiro cy’Imana.
Byumvikane neza, ni ukwita ku rugo, umugabo, umugore, n’abana; ni ukwita nshingano, ni ukwitwararika abandi, gukora ibyiza no kwirinda kugirira nabi abandi.
Mbere yo kujya gukorera mu itorero, reka tubanze tube abahamya beza b’urukundo rw’Imana mu ngo zacu, mu miryango yacu, mu baturanyi bacu, mubo dukorana, kugira ngo imirimo wacu ishimishe Imana.

Anyone who enjoys a true relationship with God must want to serve Him. And the word of God clearly says that we must serve God.

« Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. »(Romans 12:11)

How then do we serve God?
There are those who believe that going to church regularly or offering certain church services only is serving God. This is wrong, they are deceiving themselves.
The fact of going to church most often or having one or more activities in a church, is not synonymous with SERVING GOD.
SERVING GOD is witnessing God’s love and goodness in everything, always and everywhere, for the glory of God.
More concretely, it is to take care of one’s house, that is to say of one’s husband or wife and children; it is to take care of one’s work, to be at the service of one’s neighbour, to give the best of oneself to make others happy and to avoid harm to them.
Before going to serve in the church, let us first be a good witness of God’s love in our homes, in our families, in our neighborhoods, in our socio-professional circles, so that our service will be pleasing to God.

PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, grant us to know how to serve you well.

Toute personne qui jouit d’une véritable relation avec Dieu ne peut qu’avoir envie de le servir. Et la parole de Dieu dit clairement que nous devons servir Dieu.

« Ayez du zèle, et non de la paresse. Soyez fervents d’esprit et servez le Seigneur. »(Romains 12:11)

Comment alors sert-on Dieu?
Il y en a qui croient qu’aller régulièrement à l’église ou offrir certains services à l’église seulement, c’est servir Dieu. C’est faux, il se trompent.
Le fait d’aller à l’église le plus souvent ou d’avoir une ou plusieurs activités dans une église, n’est pas synonyme de SERVIR DIEU.
SERVIR DIEU, c’est témoigner l’amour et la bonté de Dieu en tout, toujours et partout, pour la gloire de Dieu.
Plus concrètement, c’est s’occuper de sa maison, c’est-à-dire de son mari ou de sa femme et de ses enfants; c’est prendre soin de son travail, être au service de son prochain, donner le meilleur de soi-même pour rendre heureux les autres et pour leur éviter le mal.
Avant d’aller servir à l’église, soyons d’abord un bon témoignage de l’amour de Dieu dans nos maisons, dans nos familles, dans voisinages, dans nos milieux socio-professionnels, ainsi notre service sera agréable à Dieu.

Notre Père qui êtes aux cieux, donnez-nous de savoir bien vous servir.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions, Amen.

It is nice to have helpful people around you, for example, family members who take care of us or friends who want to help us.
However, the reality is that sometimes people let us down or are unable to help us even though they would like to.
This is why “It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man.”(Psalm 118:8)
The Lord Himself never abandons his children and does not remain powerless in the face of our sufferings.

“My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.”(Psalm 121:2)

It is true that God does not always act as we would like, but we trust Him because He said: “Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.”(Psalm 50:15)
This is not an empty promise; the Bible gives numerous examples from history where God has actually helped people in need.
The help from people and the help from God do not have to be mutually exclusive, for it is God, the source of all good, who moves people to help us. We must thank them without forgetting to also to thank God who uses them to do us good.

PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, grant us to always ask you for help, whenever we are in need.

C’est bien d’avoir des gens serviables autour de nous, par exemple des membres de famille qui s’occupent de nous ou des amis qui veulent nous aider.
Toutefois, la réalité est que, des fois, des gens nous laissent tomber ou sont incapables de nous aider bien qu’ils voudraient bien le faire.
C’est pourquoi « Il vaut mieux se réfugier dans le Seigneur que de se confier à l’homme. »(Psaume 118:8)
Le Seigneur Lui, n’abandonne jamais ses enfants et ne reste pas non plus impuissant face à de nos souffrances.

« Le secours me vient de l’Éternel, Qui a fait les cieux et la terre. »(Psaume 121:2)

Il est vrai que Dieu n’agit pas toujours comme nous le souhaiterions, mais nous Lui faisons confiance parce qu’Il a dit:
« Invoque-moi au jour de la détresse, Je te délivrerai, et tu me glorifieras. »(Psaume 50:15)
Ce n’est pas une vaine promesse, car la Bible donne de nombreux exemples de l’histoire où Dieu a réellement aidé des gens dans leur besoin.
L’aide en provenance des gens et l’aide en provenance de Dieu ne doivent pas nécessairement s’exclure mutuellement, car c’est Dieu, source de tout bien, qui pousse les gens à nous aider. Nous devons les remercier sans oublier de remercier aussi Dieu qui les utilise pour nous faire du bien.

Ubufasha buturuka ku bantu n’ubufasha buva ku Mana ntibigomba gutandukana, kuko Imana, Yo soko y’ibyiza byose, niyo itera abantu kudufasha. Tugomba kubashimira tutibagiwe no gushimira Imana ibakoresha kugira ngo idukorere ibyiza.

Ni vizuri kuwa na watu wa kutusaidia karibu nasi, kwa mfano, wanafamilia wanaotutunza au marafiki wanaotaka kutusaidia.
Hata hivyo, ukweli ni kwamba nyakati fulani watu hutuangusha au hawawezi kutusaidia ingawa wangependa kufanya hivyo.
Ndiyo maana “Ni heri kumkimbilia Bwana Kuliko kuwatumainia wanadamu.”(Zaburi 118:8)
Bwana mwenyewe kamwe hawaachi watoto wake na habaki asiye na nguvu mbele ya mateso yetu.

« Msaada wangu u katika Bwana, Aliyezifanya mbingu na nchi. »(Zaburi 121:2)

Ni kweli kwamba siku zote Mungu hatendi jinsi tunavyotaka, lakini tunamtumaini kwa sababu alisema: “Ukaniite siku ya mateso; Nitakuokoa, na wewe utanitukuza.”(Zaburi 50:15)
Hii si ahadi tupu; Biblia inatoa mifano mingi kutoka katika historia ambapo kwa kweli Mungu amesaidia watu wenye uhitaji.
Msaada kutoka kwa watu na msaada kutoka kwa Mungu si lazima utengane, kwa kuwa ni Mungu, chanzo cha mema yote, ndiye anayewasukuma watu kutusaidia. Tunapaswa kuwashukuru bila kusahau pia kumshukuru Mungu anayewatumia kututendea mema.

OMBI:
Baba yetu uliye mbinguni, utujalie kukuomba msaada daima, wakati wowote tunapohitaji.
Ni katika jina la thamani la mwanao Yesu Kristo tunaomba, Amina.

Témoignage du jour

La dame était une chrétienne dévouée à la prière. Tous les mardis, jeudis et samedis, elle allait à l’église.

Un jeudi, cette dame est allée à l’église, laissant à la maison trois enfants orphelins qu’elle adoptait.
L’aîné avait treize ans, le cadet huit ans et le benjamin quatre ans.
Elle leur a donné un baiser et a dit: « je serai à la maison à la fin de la cérémonie. »

Alors que l’enfant de quatre ans jouait, il a pris un fil de fer, puis l’a introduit dans la prise et s’est inévitablement électrocuté.
Les frères aînés, dans une tentative d’aider le plus jeune, attrapent le garçon et subissent le même sort.Tous trois y ont ainsi perdu la vie.

Les voisins ont compris ce qui s’était passé et ont appelé une ambulance, mais les garçons étaient déjà morts lorsque les secours sont arrivés.

Au retour de l’église, la dame a été informée de ce qui s’est passé à l’hôpital et a trouvé les enfants déjà couverts de linge blanc. Elle est descendue et a commencé à prier:
« Seigneur Jésus, je ne suis pas allée me prostituer. J’étais dans ta maison pour t’aimer. J’ai laissé les enfants à tes soins. Pourquoi ce mal est-il venu m’abattre ? »

Pendant qu’elle priait, les enfants ont repris le souffle à la grande surprise de tout le corps médical.

Les médecins ont essayé de trouver une explication et n’ont pas pu et ils ont dit:
« Comment est-ce possible? Les enfants sont revenus à la vie ! »

En larmes, cette dame a dit:
« Dieu ne se trompe pas. Croyez simplement et il fera le reste. Il connaît nos intentions et nos voeux. Il connaît nos coeurs et nos pensées. »

Réflexion:
Des tragédies se produisent dans notre vie. En tant que chrétiens, notre réflexe doit être de recourir à Dieu. Non seulement notre Dieu nous console et nous fortifie par sa parole, mais aussi, Il peut opérer un miracle dans notre vie et changer nos malheurs en bonheur, notre tristesse en joie et notre désespoir en espoir.
Que Dieu vous bénisse tous!

We would like to see more miracles than to listen to the word of God and believe in it. But, between miracles and the word of God, what will save us?

When the scribes and Pharisees said to Jesus: « Teacher, we want to see a miraculous sign from you »(Matthew 12:38), he replied that his resurrection will be the most eloquent of miracles for them.(read Matthew 12:38-40)

Indeed, the miracle of the resurrection is enough for us to believe in Jesus and in the one who raised him. Other miracles should not condition our faith.
Moreover, all miracles do not necessarily come from God, there are some that come from Satan. Jesus warned us of this:
« False Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect–if that were possible. »(Matthew 24:24)

If we cling to miracles, it is a real sign that our faith is not strong and that we risk becoming lost and falling into the traps of Satan.
But if we cling to the word of God, we will be saved, because the word of God not only builds us up and reassures us in faith, but also always creates and works miracles of God in our lives.

PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, grant us to be satisfied with your Word.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.
