WHAT SHOULD WE DO TO GET WHAT WE HAVE BEEN PROMISED ?

When God promises us something, we must first accept it and believe it as it has already been promised to us.

“Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, « So shall your offspring be. » Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead–since he was about a hundred years old–and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God.”(Romans 4:18-20)

The first step is to believe and begin to see what has been promised to us as if we had already received it, as Abraham and Sarah did in faith.

The second step is to refute everything that may cause us to doubt.

The third step is to glorify God, thanking him for what he has given us. This step transcends the earth’s atmosphere and brings us into the glory of God, and then the promise is fulfilled.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, grant us to believe in You as You are.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray with faith, Amen.

LET’S AVOID BAD PLACES

There are blessings we get when we are where God wants us to be and there are problems we encounter because we are in bad places.

Because David was in a bad place, he saw what he should not have seen, and that made him want to sin, and later it got him into trouble.
What happened to him?
« One evening David got up from his bed and walked around on the roof of the palace. From the roof he saw a woman bathing. The woman was very beautiful, and David sent someone to find out about her. The man said, “She is Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam and the wife of Uriah the Hittite.” Then David sent messengers to get her. She came to him, and he slept with her. (Now she was purifying herself from her monthly uncleanness.) Then she went back home.”(2 Samuel 11:2-4)

Why was the king walking on the roof of the palace?
On the roof of the palace, there is no place fit for a king, not even a place suitable for a king. That’s where the desire to sleep with someone else’s wife invaded him.
We too must know that there are places we should avoid because they are not suitable for us.
For example, places where crimes are often committed or where things are done that do not honor God.
Places like these are not our place, they are not suitable for us, we must avoid them so that we too do not fall into sin or taint our credibility.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, help us to avoid going and being in places that are not suitable for us.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray in faith, Amen.

Ese ubundi umwami yagendagendaga hejuru y’inzu y’umwami ashaka iki?
Hejuru y’inzu, s’ikibanza gikwiranye n’umwami, si n’umwanya ukwiriye umwami. Niyo mpamvu haturutse ikibazo cyo kwifuza kurongora umugore yahaboneye.

Mbega umwami yagendagenda hejuru ku ngoro yiwe ashaka iki?
Hejuru ku ngoro, s’ikibanza gikwiranye n’umwami, si n’umwanya ukwiriye umwami. Niho handurukiye icifuzo co kuryamana n’umugore yahaboneye.

TO GOD ALL THE GLORY

We cannot do anything on our own without God’s help. God’s children have the power to perform miracles, including praying to heal people, casting out demons from people, etc.

Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to Rulers and elders of the people, who were questioning him with John, by what power or what name they have healed a man crippled from birth:
« Know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed. »(Acts 4:10)

The apostles were accustomed to performing great miracles but they never claimed to take credit for them, they persisted in saying that it was by the name of Jesus Christ that the miracles were performed.
Today, there are people who, when they perform miracles, dare to claim the glory of God instead of giving it back to God who gives them the power to perform these miracles!
It’s too bad.
Brothers and sisters, may all the glory be to God.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, help us to never claim your glory.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, amen.
