God loves a cheerful giver.
In the eyes of God, giving is not a sacrifice, but rather a seed.
* »Anyone who sows sparsely will reap sparsely as well — and anyone who sows generously will reap generously as well. Each one should give as much as he has decided on his own initiative, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. »*(2 Corinthians 9:6-7)
As the farmer gives his grain to the ground and then reaps what he has sown, the gift is also a seed.
If we save the seed, the harvest will be poor, if we sow generously, the harvest will be great.
PRAYER:
Lord our God, grant us to always be able to give with joy.
