THE POWERFUL HAND OF JESUS

Everyone Jesus touched was cleansed, healed of his sicknesses, and reassured.

*He touched a leper* and he was immediately cleansed of his leprosy. (Matthew 8:3)

*He touched the hand of Pierre’s mother-in-law who was sick and had a fever* and the fever left her; then she arose and served him. (Matthew 8:15)

*He touched the eyes of the blind* who had come to him, saying, According to your faith be it unto you, and their eyes were opened. (Matthew 9:29)

*He touched his disciples who were terrified* and said to them: Arise, do not be afraid! They were reassured. (Matthew 17:7)

*He touched the coffin in which there was a corpse* saying, « Young man, I tell you, get up! » and the dead man sat down and began to speak. (Luke 7:14)

May this powerful hand also touch us today and now so that we may be healed of all our illnesses and all our fears.
