Trial is a favorable time for the devil to cause us to fall into sin.
The word of God reveals to us the secret of emerging victorious:
« Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. »(James 4:7)
If we want to overcome the devil, we must absolutely resist him.
The devil neither knows nor can resist if we oppose him with the Holy Spirit who is in us; he flees far from us.
Let us have the Holy Spirit within us and let him always guide us and act in our prayers.
PRAYER :
Our Father who art in heaven, help us to always overcome the spirit of evil.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.
