There is in your personality a sphere more important than any other and it is that of your heart.
The state of your heart will determine the course of your life.
God warns you and urges you to guard your heart more than anything else:
* »More than all else, keep watch over your heart, since here are the wellsprings of life. »*(Proverbs 4:23)
Whatever good or bad situations you go through, make sure that nothing hurts your heart, corrupts it and distances it from your God.
Indeed, it is from the heart that important attitudes and feelings come. The heart therefore determines our life.
Let there be no evil in it, let there be no room for disbelief, bitterness, fear, anguish, pride, hatred or jealousy, because these things destroy our life.
But if our heart is pure and clean, if it is filled with faith, love, truth, justice, then the course of our life will be filled with success.
PRAYER:
Lord our God, give us to know how to protect our heart against all evil.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray.
