Did you know that the different gifts we have were given to us so that we could put them at the service of others out of love?
* »Each one of you has received a special grace, so, like good stewards responsible for all these varied graces of God, put it at the service of others. »*(1 Peter 4:10)
Indeed, whatever gifts a man may possess, they are not strictly speaking his own; they are the property of the Lord and must be used for the love of the children of God and for His glory.
This epistle of Peter thus lets us understand here that *the various gifts that we have received for free must be used for free* to help our brothers..
PRAYER:
Lord our God, help us to use the gifts You give us in the service of others.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray.
