WOULD YOU STAY FAITHFUL TO GOD ?

The case of Job is a more eloquent example of faithfulness to God.
Job remained faithful to God despite the hardships he went through.
God said of him:
« There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil. »
But Satan believed that Job was so because God had blessed the work of his hands and his flocks covered the land. He said to God this:
« Stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face. »(Job 1:7-11)

Job was subsequently sorely tried (read Job 1:13-22) but he remained faithful to God.

And if it was you, would you have stayed faithful to God?
Can you remain faithful to God in famine or in poverty?
Can you stay faithful to God if your boss fires you from your job or if your landlord kicks you out of the house you’re renting with nowhere to go?
Can you stay faithful to God if you end up unjustly in prison?
Can you continue to stay faithful to God if you suddenly find yourself disabled?
Can you stay faithful to God if you find yourself stripped of everything you had?
If you can, know that God is proud of you.

PRAYER :
Our Father who art in heaven, help us to remain faithful to you in all situations and circumstances.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.
