Jonathan and David are a good example of friendship.
« Jonathan made David swear again by his love for him, for he loved him as he loved his own soul. »(1 Samuel 20:17)

① He shows you unconditional love and expect nothing in return,
② He respects you and won’t let anyone to disrespect you,
③ He may not judge you or think less of you, but he calls you out when you are wrong,
④ He is always there for you, and will likely always have your back and support you through thick and thin,
⑤ He helps you to focus on your goals, to stay motivated, and to be creative.
May God give us good friends who can love us as they love their own soul.

Our Father who art in heaven, help us to find good friends.
