If there are conflicts and wars in this world, it is because people do not tolerate and forgive others.
However, God’s word exhorts us to bear with one another and forgive one another.
« Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. »(Colossians 3:13)
Indeed, the regeneration of every christian with the new birth, must be manifested externally, notably through his ability to bear others and through forgiveness.
Now, man can only bear with others and forgive them if he has a heart of love, because, « love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. »(1 Corinthians 13:7)
If you do not have a loving heart, you cannot bear with others or forgive them.
PRAYER:
Lord our God, give us a heart of love so that we can bear with others and forgive them.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.
