The word of God tells us that if we love God, others must absolutely see our love of God by our loving attitude towards the people around us.
« If anyone says, « I love God, » yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. »(1 John 4:20)
How dare we then pretend to love the God we have never seen when we distrust our own brothers and sisters, our neighbors or our co-workers?
How dare we claim to love God when we hate his children because of their ethnic, religious or political affiliations?
Let’s stop lying, we don’t love God if we don’t love his children.
PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, grant us to sincerely love your children.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.
