As humans, we tend to remember in our minds the sins, failures and mistakes we have made and condemn ourselves instead of focusing on how God truly sees us – *perfect in Christ*.
* »I will forgive their wickedness, and will remember their sins no more. »* (Hebrews 8:12)
If then our God says He remembers no more our sins which He has already forgiven, why do we persist in condemning ourselves?
It is guilt without reason because God sees us *perfect in Christ* when He forgives us.
Indeed, it is the devil who, despite we have been forgiven, continues to remind us of our sins in order to keep us in an unhappy life of guilt.
Brothers and sisters, let’s not fall into the devil’s trap, forgiven sins are as if they have never happened.
PRAYER:
Lord our God, grant us to no longer continue to feel guilty for no reason.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray.
