The word of God assures us that the children of God cannot be deprived of anything that can be essentially good for them.
The psalmist who puts it well says that « the lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing. »(Psalms 34:11)
Indeed, despite its strength, a lion and its cubs can starve, because it has not been able or can no longer hunt its game to feed itself and its cubs.
But we, the children of God, we cannot lack anything because our Father who art in heaven has everything in his hands and deprives us of nothing of everything that is in his possession.
It is then up to us to seek the Lord and to ask Him for everything we need.
It is for this good reason that every Christian can declare with certainty:
« I LACK NOTHING. »(Psalms 23:1)
PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, grant us to be reassured that nothing essential for our life can be deprived of us.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.
