OUR SELF AWARENESS

The Scriptures have much to say on the subject of self-awareness.

Corinthians 13:5 says:
“Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you? — unless indeed you fail to meet the test!”

David was fully aware that God was in control of his life, and he had faith that God would deliver him from impending danger(1Samuel 17:37). That is why he didn’t fear Goliath.
If we are aware that Jesus Christ is in us, we don’t fear anything.
When Paul was persecuting Christians, Jesus told him: « Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? »
« Who are you, Lord? » Saul asked.
« I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting, » he replied.(Acts 9:4-5)
Jesus didn’t say, « Why do you persecute those christians or my people? », he said « Why do you persecute me? » and « You are persecuting me » because if you touch a child of God, you touch Jesus himself.

Let’s be aware that if Christ is in us, who attack or fight us is attacking ou fighting Jesus himself since we became children of God.

PRAYER:
Eternal our God, grant us to be aware that we are protected because Jesus is in us.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.
