Did you know that the first cause of the existence of everything is the word of the Lord and the breath (or the Spirit) of his mouth? Everything that was created came into existence when the Lord spoke.
« By the word of the LORD were the heavens made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth…For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm. »(Psalms 33:6-9)
We have a vivid illustration of this in the opening verses of the book of Genesis.(Read Genesis 1:2-3)
At that time, the Word of God was united with his Spirit, and this union gave rise to the existence of what God said.
It is the same also for us his children:
Each time we open our hearts to the Word of God and His Spirit working together, the same power that created the Universe is released within us. And so our speech also becomes creative.
We must therefore be aware that our words or more precisely our declarations have a creative power.
Anything we declare about ourselves or others, whether good or bad, can come true according to the will of God and for His name to be glorified.
Let’s watch our words.
PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, grant us to always speak good words about ourselves and others.
It is in the precious name of Your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.
