Do you have love?
The Word of God says that without love we are nothing.
« If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. »(1 Corinthians 13:2)
So how is a person who has love?
1. He loves God
He always wants to know God by reading his word, he always wants to do what pleases God and avoid what He hates, he respects Him, adores Him and speaks to Him in prayer.
2. He loves himself
He avoids anything that can hurt him physically, mentally and spiritually, he avoids anything that can make him lose hope or discourage him, he strives for a good life, well-being and longevity.
3. He loves other people
He does them good and wishes them good, he listens to them, advises them, helps them, prays for them, speaks to them about Jesus, prevents them from falling into sin and if they sin against him, he supports them and forgives them.
A person who does not love God, does not love himself and others, has no love, and is nothing.
PRAYER :
Our Father who art in heaven, grant us to have love in our hearts.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.
