WE WILL SEE MIRACLES IF WE GIVE THANKS TO GOD!

When Jesus stood outside Lazarus’ tomb, and people took away the stone that was covering it, he did not see the situation as hopeless and impossible. He just rolled his eyes and said:
« Father, I thank you for what you have heard me… » (John 11:41)
Those who attended this scene, rather expected to hear Jesus saying: « Father, I ask you to raise Lazarus! » But he said: « I thank you for having heard me. »
Then he called Lazarus and the man came back alive again!
The resurrection of Lazarus, who died more than four days ago, was one of the greatest miracles of Jesus.
And Jesus fulfilled this miracle by saying: « Father, I thank you for having heard me. » He thanked the Lord for his way to an awesome miracle.
Many of us do not know how to give thanks to God when they pray.
They find themselves praying, saying, « My God, please do it for me, please give me… »
Yet, if we get used to thanking God by saying, « Thank you my God for hearing me, and because you heard me, I thank you for having what I asked for », the little that we have, will multiply, our impossible situations will turn to reflect the provision of God, and the life of resurrection will transform us!

PRAY:
Lord our God, we give you thanks for the fact that you hear what we ask of you and for all your benefits.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray.
Amen.
