Like all of us, the psalmist notes with bitterness that the wicked are happy!
« This is what the wicked are like—always free of care, they go on amassing wealth. »(Psalm 73:12)
If the wicked are always free of care in this world and increase in riches, this is a proof that God remains kind to everyone, both godly and ungodly.
However, we are not right to envy them or to imitate their ways, because God hates wickedness, and all evil.
« Do not set foot on the path of the wicked or walk in the way of evil men. »(Proverbs 4:14)
Let us rather remain attached to the good.
PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, grant us to never follow the ways of the wicked.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.
