The land promised to the people of Israel was not offered to him on a platter, he had to fight and defeat the Anakites, strong and tall people, to take possession of it. However, God had to reassure him.
« Your God is the one who goes across ahead of you like a devouring fire. He will destroy them; he will subdue them before you. And you will drive them out and annihilate them quickly, as the LORD has promised you. »(Deuteronomy 9:3)
In everything we do or undertake to do, we must involve our God and let him walk with us.
If it happen to encounter difficulties that seem insurmountable, « let us walk by faith and not by sight » (2 Corinthians 5:7), and then we will see how smooth and easy things seem before us.
The difficulties and all that will want to interpose themselves in front of us to prevent us from reaching our success or our objective will be swept away as by a devouring fire.
And as the devouring fire leaves nothing in its path, nothing can stand in our way.
PRAYER :
Our Father who art in heaven, grant us to remain in your plan and remain with us in all our plans and activities.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.
