The people of Israel truly saw the power of God, by the extraordinary way in which he brought them out of Egypt, delivered from the hand of Pharaoh, nourished in the desert. And Moses invites the people not to forget all this, so as not to turn away from God.
« Remember well what the LORD your God did to Pharaoh and to all Egypt. You saw with your own eyes the great trials, the miraculous signs and wonders, the mighty hand and outstretched arm, with which the LORD your God brought you out. »(Deuteronomy 7:18-19)
The Lord wants us too to remember what he has done to us, so that we remain attached to Him, we remain constantly joyful and in an attitude of gratitude. Because, in our lives too, He has done many wonderful things! Let’s remember that.
PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, grant us to always remember your benefits so that we may never turn away from you.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.
