If we believe and welcome Jesus Christ as our King and Savior into our lives, the kingdom of God conquers our hearts, God comes to dwell in us and begins to work in our hearts.
« It is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose. »(Philippians 2:13)
Why do we continue to seek God elsewhere when He dwells in our hearts?
It is ignorance because God is with us and dwells in us.
Rather, we should always talk to Him, listen to Him, and let Him do what He wants in our lives.
This is why Jesus tells us:
« Remain in me, and I will remain in you. »(John 15:4)
However, even those who do not believe in Jesus Christ, God keeps His eyes on them, for He continues to love them and extend to them the love, mercy and grace that He is eager to give them.
PRAYER:
Lord our God, grant us to always remember that you are within us.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.
